What is Yoga Therapy?

Yoga as  therapy is a safe way of working with the natural capacity of your body and mind to optimize well-being and create a holistic approach to your physical, mental, and emotional needs. Yoga as therapy supports the individual at any age/stage in life to create positive, proactive and healing intentions to support a life with abundance, joy and contentment.

Our work together begins with a free 30-minute Discovery Call. During this time I will answer your questions about yoga and have an open conversation about your healing intention, expectations

and personal goals. Each Yoga Therapy session

may include one or a combination of:

yoga poses
breathing exercises
mental techniques


cardio/strength training
lifestyle education


Our sessions will be tailored to meet your specific needs, goals, and intentions. No two sessions are the same. We will work on what is important to you and will help you on that given day. The goal of yoga therapy practices for personal, professional growth or pain and stress management help you address

the here and now.


Unlike traditional forms of performance training and therapy for pain and stress, we will not focus on the direct presenting issues. Instead, focus on possibility, perspective shift, curiosity and exploration to cultivate resilience and infuse your practice 

with new energy, concepts, and motivation. 

Many find private instruction to be a more comfortable setting to explore themselves through a holistic approach. It also allows you the space and time to focus on yourself in this unique way. It may be new or awkward to try yoga and be present with your body and mind, its not often we think about and

connect to our body and our thoughts!

that you experience your mind/body as

sources of truth and strength.
